Chris Jones

COO

A self-starter and detail-oriented person, Chris Jones takes a hands-on approach to business. He was raised by a small business owner and a grade school principal, making him value both education and accountability. Chris has flipped the narrative of business practice, prioritizing a great customer experience and quality over rapid growth.

About Chris

Chris’ interest in construction goes back to watching This Old House on PBS as a kid. He worked with his hands to put himself through college at the University of Colorado. He later found opportunities in the homebuilding industry as a field superintendent, project manager, and eventually land acquisition manager.

In 2012, Chris became COO of a nationally recognized building envelope consulting firm. He managed a team that inspected, designed, and oversaw roofing, façade, and fenestration projects for national companies such as Monsanto, CBRE, Millipore Sigma, Regions Bank, and many more.

In 2016, St. Louis Roofing Company was ready for new ownership. He grew the commercial company on a foundation of quality, safety, jobsite cleanliness, watertight workmanship, and budget. Projects flooded in: Ameren power plants, General Motors, Cushman Wakefield, St. Louis Archdiocese, and more. Currently, Chris’ wife, Kathy, is majority owner of St. Louis Roofing Company, a certified Woman Owned Business (WBE).
